The Sunday School program was organized shortly after the church was chartered in 1864. The staff has always believed that the Word of God is an essential part of the Christian life and must be taught if we are to truly become one of His disciples. The fact that the American Sunday School Union was organized in 1824 and Rehoboth’s Sunday School was organized forty years demonstrates our long history in the Sunday School movement and our commitment to Christian Education.
Sunday School Classes are available for all age groups. Anyone interested in studying or teaching God’s word is invited to join us every Sunday morning from 8:30 a.m. – 9:25 a.m. for a lively discussion of God’s Word. Following classes, a review of the lesson taught that morning is given by one of the classes after the classes re-assemble in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.
Teacher’s Training sessions are held every second Saturday of the month at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
